Our Services

Communication Alliance, Inc. specializes in legal and technical translation and interpretation services. The key to our success is dedication to offering the highest quality of language services.

Every translator and interpreter from our team specializes in a subject matter. After assessing your needs, we determine which of our specialists best meets those needs, allowing us to deliver the highest quality job that you have come to expect and deserve.

Your document, in any language. We offer translation and interpretation services from and into all major languages, e.g.:

Arabic; Chinese; Dutch; French; German; Italian; Portuguese; Russian; Spanish; and more...

The main steps in our translation process are:
-  Assess the document to define the project requirements
-  Assign the document to a qualified translator (with knowledge in a specific field if necessary)
-  Proofread and edit the translation for quality assurance to deliver a high-end product

Our translators always translate into their native tongue, which ensures that they fully understand the subtleties that are otherwise lost on non-native speakers who may not possess real-life experience in the country where the document is to be used.

Translation

Translation is the communication of the meaning of a source-language text by means of an equivalent target-language text.

Because of the laboriousness of translation, since the 1940s engineers have sought to automate translation (machine translation) or to mechanically aid the human translator (computer-assisted translation). The rise of AI has fostered a world-wide market for machine translation services.

However, because of the complexities of every language and every document involved, human translators who are well versed in the subject matter of the document at hand are still, to-date, the only ones who can properly communicate what you need and and facilitate language localization.

We pride ourselves in having a team of professionals whose primary goal is communicating. Therefore Communication Alliance requires all its translators and interpreters to possess native fluency and a professional background.

So, whether you need technical reports, brochures, manuals, agreements and contracts, audit reports, balance sheets, or other accounting and financial materials translated, our team has you covered!

Interpretation

Interpretation is the facilitating of oral or sign-language communication, either simultaneously or consecutively, between users of different languages. The process is described by both the words "interpreting" and "interpretation".

Consecutive or simultaneous?
Consecutive interpreting refers to the process by which the source-language speaker and the interpreter take turns speaking. The consecutive interpreter listens and takes notes while the speaker talks. When the speaker pauses or finishes speaking, the interpreter reproduces the message in the target language.

Simultaneous interpreting refers to the process by which the source-language speaker speaks continuously, while the interpreter sits in a sound-proof booth and renders the message through a microphone, simultaneously, in the target language.

We work with professionals who have extensive experience in both consecutive and simultaneous interpreting and have an understanding of the subject matter presented at the meeting or conference where their services are required.

Editing

Editing - Proofreading

When you can't afford the slightest mistake in your documents, Communication Alliance can help proofread and edit to ensure that there are no errors in the translation and that it perfectly reflects the original document.

Why is Editing & Proofreading So Important?

The answer is simple: the proper Translation/Editing/Proofreading (TEP) sequence ensures the client that they will be receiving superior quality work.

Once a document is translated, it is then revised by our native-speaking translators from a linguistic, and stylistic perspective, ensuring that there are no mistakes and that nothing is missing. This is the editing process.

The proofreading comes last. The proofreader reads the target text to ensue it is legible, with no grammatical errors. That’s why it’s vitally important that the proofreading step be performed only once the text has been edited.

Also, when working with files that require design work, like PDF files that need to go through desktop publishing, it is essential to make a comparison in order to detect any errors, including grammatical and formatting problems.
